Hands down the best thing we have found at the Villa Park French Market is the P.B. Loco guy. He's at the end of the market furthest away from Ardmore on the right hand side. He gives out free samples, which by itself is worth the trip. I always let my 3 year old pick out one thing at the market that she gets to 'buy', and both times we've gone she's picked up a jar of P.B. Loco Peanut Butter. This just saves me from buying it myself, because the stuff is friggin delicious. So far we have the 'Jungle Banana' and the 'Dark Chocolate Duo' which gives Nutella a run for its money.

The second best thing at this market is the fresh pretzel bread. Buy some, slice it, load it up with P.B. Loco and some sliced bananas or strawberries. Fantastic!

The Villa Park French Market is held every Sunday 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., beginning May 3, 2009 through October 25, 2009, and is located on Park Boulevard, immediately west of Ardmore, by the gazebo, right next to the Prairie Path.
