Chef Share Dinners in Elmhurst

For the first time in 4 years, I will soon be getting time alone. My youngest starts preschool 2 days a week in January. For most people this would be an excellent opportunity to run errands, do chores around the house or even just chill out in a coffee shop somewhere. Since I'm insane, I feel like I have to find a way to cook.

I am contemplating a pilot 'Chef Share' program. Basically I would cook a large amount of food and then divide it up among the participants and deliver it to your house at a predetermined time. I would have to limit delivery to Elmhurst, however if you live nearby and want to pick it up instead, that would be fine too. I would start with just one meal a week in order to feel out the logistics and get a handle on what recipes are popular, and hopefully scale up afterwards. I will focus on well-balanced, family-friendly, made-from-scratch meals. Especially in the wintertime, you can expect a lot of comfort food like chicken & dumplings with oven roasted vegetables or lasagne al forno with a fresh salad and homemade salad dressing.

I hope to launch this effort in February. If you are interested, please email me. I will be putting together pricing and schedules immediately after the holidays.
