Update - Chef Share Dinners
First I want to apologize for dropping off the face of the earth since Thanksgiving. The holidays are my busiest time of year both personally and professionally and this year was no exception. Usually the madness ends the first week of January and I am able to return to normal. This year I just kept right on going! I'm solidly booked through mid-February. Despite significantly upping my caffeine intake, I'm still way behind on everything - calling clients back, updating the website, organizing shopping lists, laundry... So if I have blown you off in any way, let me say I'm truly sorry.
As for the Chef Share plan I debuted right before the holidays, the response has been huge! I have had people stop me in the street and ask me when I'm going to start it. I have already received emails from more people requesting this service than I was planning to take on in the first place. I am so excited about the prospects for this. But... I am running into logistical challenges right and left. I need to find additional refrigeration that will fit down my freakishly narrow stairwell. I need to get my sanitation certificate renewed (2 days of classes), and my babysitter just told me she's leaving for a month-long cruise. Sigh. As those of you with toddlers know, it takes approximately 5 times as long to deal with obstacles when you've got screaming kids in the background every time you make a call, or you have to schedule a babysitter for every appointment or serious shopping excursion. So I'm down but not out. I promise to get the chef share concept up and running ASAP and I appreciate everyone's tremendous patience with me.
